Who we are

“ETC for Special Works” is a limited liability company, registered in Russia in 2006. Over the last 14 years, the Сompany has completed 1,097 projects in various sectors and industries, which includes projects in humanitarian mine action.

As part of its portfolio of mine action projects the Company has achieved the following results:

  • 31,056 hectares of suspected hazardous areas was released through survey and clearance
  • 8,162 hectares of underwater surface released through clearance
  • 10,641 items of Explosive Ordnance (EO) was destroyed during this process.

“ETC for Special Works” is a specialized company that provides high quality services, including services in mine action sector, that cover land release through non-technical survey, technical survey, battle area clearance, manual and mechanical demining and explosive ordnance disposal.

The Company is qualified and experienced in delivering the following specialized services:

  • Transportation of explosive ordnance
  • Special blasting for scientific research
  • Emergency Procurement and logistics in security volatile regions

In addition to its qualification in mine action projects, the Company is specialized and experienced in managing complex, multi-facetted projects and programmes, that combine mine action, project management, and logistical support operations in order to deliver turnkey solutions, tailored to customer and client requirements.

“ETC for Special Works” is one of the major contractors that supported the implementation of the Nord Stream 2 AG project.

“ETC for Special Works” is subject to annual external audits of its finances and accounts, constantly participates in national and international tenders and posts its financial audit reports on available platforms, as per the requirements of international and national legislation.

The Company keeps abreast of all development in the humanitarian mine action sector, through constant contact with the relevant entities, including, but not limited to UNMAS, UNOPS, GICHD and HCR-CTRO.

The Company operates in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IMAS standards, has developed its own Standard Operating Procedures, that are being updated, as new lessons are being learnt form newly implemented projects.

It is also a UN registered vendor (UNGM 505832) and has mine action operational experience in Russia and Serbia.

It is also pride itself for being a strict advocate of the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and applies high standards of work and work ethics, striving to carry out effective quality management and efficiently use available resources.
